Fundamentals of Cooking! Kids After School Culinary Program- Monday's September 10th- October 29th 4pm-5:30pm

This is a perfect class for your youngster to start getting involved in the kitchen and with food. Each week we cook a different menu, everything from scratch. We go over knife skills and kitchen etiquette. (We treat them like adults and expect respect in the kitchen!)

This is a sample menu and is subject to change.

Ages 6 and up.

  • Week 1: Knife Skills, Chopping Vegetables
  • Week 2: Pizza and Red Sauce;  from scratch
  • Week 3: Dumplings: Shumai, Crab Rangoon, Pork
  • Week 4: Home Made Foccacia and Tomato Soup
  • Week 5: Salads; Perfect Vegetables, Raw and Roasted and Dressings
  • Week 6: Mexican; Tortillas, Salsa, Guacamole, Tacos
  • Week 7: Pastry; Cheez-Itz, Churros
  • Week 8: Friends and Family Dinner
